I guess I could not leave my post without venting some struggles, struggles that are stealing my joy in a way. How wrong it is, I know, however, I believe this is a part of every believers life. I personally struggling over God's call. I know I am called into full time ministry, yet fail to see where it will lead. I know, so often we want to know details, however, as of now, I am in desperate need of so called details to plan my life with Jacquie, plan where to live, plan how to live. Financial burdens are crushing our hopes, dreams, and goals for the direct future. I know I need to give this all to God.
"Lord, Help me to trust in you, trust in you completely, and blindly. Help me to understand your direction, calling, and discern the quiet whispers of your voice. Lord, in this time of great change, enable me to have great faith, faith to through up my hands and give, my debt, my wife's debt, our future home, my future job, the city we are to live in, the place we are to call home; Lord, take it all and intricately weave it into a tapestry that will enable us to be amzed, utterly amazed at your provision."

That's a great post. I was thinking about this while cleaning this morning, and I am convinced of a couple of things.
One - that God has and is providing for you. Your dreams are within grasp -- at least the beginning of those dreams. Maybe God will zap some big provision into your life - but honestly, even if He doesn't, I've rarely seen a young couple so well prepared and financially able to make a good go of it.
Two - He often doesn't give us details. It is my belief that we are presented choices - and not all of them are right vs. wrong, but instead might be several right choices. You sometimes have to make choices you don't want to make (i.e., where to live) and have faith that He will be there through whatever circumstances are there for you.
Three - what are the desires of your heart? Sometimes I dislike the phrase "called into full-time ministry". In my opinion, you are in full-time ministry in that you have a nearly full-time job where you can influence teens who currently don't know God. Mother Teresa was in full-time ministry though she did not preach at a church. And are there any core values (i.e., not impressed with the luxurious lifestyle) that you are wanting to pursue.
If it doesn't look like a house is in order right away, that just means that the timing is not good and would not be a good thing for you. Maybe finances need to be in better order first (i.e., some debt removed). Maybe your mindset(s) about finances need some work first (i.e., take only what manna you need and you will have an abundance). Maybe if you forced the issue now, there would be a better deal or better situation you would miss out on in the future.
I don't know the answers, but I am confident that if you are struggling, then God's in it.
