I made it to Ontario while driving 23 hours straight. My journey on my first leg took 2 cups of coffee, 11 cans of diet coke, 1 Red Bull, and a heck of a lot of pit stops to go tinkle. Upon reaching Saskatchewan I managed to obliterate a Kyote at mach 1 or to the laymen 130km/hr. My trip accross country was definately a memorable yet sad event.

On a more serious note, I left Millwoods Youth on Tuesday night with mixed feelings. Excited to be starting my ministry that God has layed out, yet, greatly filled with sorrow at the many youth, leaders, and parents that have come such a close part of my life in the past two years. Surprisingly, I felt more at home during the two weeks at Millwoods then my past church experiences. The memories, laughs, good times, and God times, will definately accompany me into my ministry. With a myriad of memories it is all brought together in a mosaic to create the person I am today. THANK YOU!

In other news....
I GRADUATED.... Yes, it's official. I got my diploma and am excited to embark as a graduate. It has been my first 3 days at my new church and already I have discovered that although Bible College was great, it does not come close to preparing or painting an accurate picture of what full time ministry is really like.

These past few days, in my new appartement, has been great to connect with God. Theres no distractions of school, tv, phone, annowing room mates (j/k) - not really, and school work. Since work at the church has not yet picked up, it is great to start it off on the right foot. In a town where I know virtually no one and am 30 minutes away from Jacquie and 1.5 hours away from any of my friends, it is hard, yet surprisingly peacefull.

PRAY FOR ME
I am speaking the next two Sundays and humbly ask for your prayers that my own inadequicies would be made full in the light of God.

Simon Out!
